A lot has happened at RHODIUS since the installation of the first can filling line in our plant in 1977. A total of seven filling facilities have been built over the past 16 years. RHODIUS as an experienced can filler has set another milestone for the future with its state-of-the-art KHS can filling system that was installed in 2016.
The system enables inline measurement of CO2, °Brix and alcohol. In addition, pasteurization is automated, and energy is being recovered. With an investment volume of more than EUR 10 million, this plant is up to date in terms of the filling process and further relevant technical aspects.
The filling lines are separated according to the type of beverage to be bottled. The purpose of this is to separate taste-sensitive from strongly flavored ingredients. RHODIUS, as expert can filler, guarantees highest quality of the products and an unchanged taste after the beverages have been bottled.
The systems are equipped with an integrated filling management system, characterized by a gentle handling of the raw materials, a constant control of all components, hermetically sealed filling and precision in the can packaging. This can filler management system enables data to be recorded, analyzed, evaluated and monitored. In addition, the collected information is processed statistically. Inspection and control systems permit precise handling and sort out faulty cans. Problems are thus localized and eliminated at an early stage.
